Or ''do this'' etc....
You something guys. I'm getting fed up with all this nonsense, of people telling other people in the hi-fi community what to buy etc.
Today, I was looking around for a second hand Earmax Pro Headphone amp on the forums. Later in the evening, some chap sent me a private message, telling me that he used to own a Earmax Pro and is now using a different amp, with rolled/ upgraded tubes etc. Then went on to say the latter sounded 10 leagues above the Earmax Pro.
Sure, perhaps the amp sounds a million times better than the Earmax. But honestly, I don't fucking care!!!
At the end of the day, I only care about myself and not what others think.
Give me a break!

I'm the opposite, I always welcome advice and suggestions. Doesn't mean I'll listen to them though!
There's been times when I've tried stuff just to humour people and it has turned out to be amazingly good. So you never know.

Never heard of Earmax Pro. Sounds like some wax removal jobbie. I’m surprised anybody bothered sending an unsolicited pm. It’s not something I’d do and not really something I’d really want to receive either tbh.

I was tempted to reply and say F#ck off. But then again it's a waste of my energy. So didn't bother. S.

I'm sure he had your best interests at heart, and it is just something else to consider. You are always asking for people's thoughts on various items Shane, I assumed you must be open minded.

Otherwise I don't know.
