Luckily it is not going to affect consumers due to the age of the bourbon, it was still maturing. 45,000 barrels was only 1% of their stock.

I went off spirits after a particularly heavy new years eve drinking Glenfiddich. But I was never keen on the Yank bourbons and whiskys. I did have J&B on holiday a couple of years ago just because I've seen people in films and TV drinking it and always wondered what it was like. It's awful.
