Anyone know where he posts these days? I always enjoyed his posts and welcomed his intellect and observations. He largely fell out with other forums because he wouldn’t let things go when he was right (IMO). Forum land is poorer without him, so I hope he finds a voice again.

I once had an LPT turntable. Build quality was miles better than their other mid priced decks!

For the first day or so I was taken with the clarity, but then it all began to wear on me. I’ve had three in total, with the other two being bought to get a cheap arm, the first one was the version with the piano gloss top.

The LPT tonality is a little lean but fairly musical. Some folks recommend tonearms that sound a bit damped to balance the sound etc.

I was supposed to be buying a PT1 a while back but it didn't happen. Pinkie gave me some advice on vinyl engine or xover network. Cant remember which. A very amusing fella with an entertaining writing style. There was a thread on hfs called pinkie's funky ramblings or some such.

The Anniversary is said to be really well put together,
