This brand deserves a thread IMO.
How would some of you, describe the sound of the OA21? Is the 'S' version the same amp internally?

I bid £175 for nostalgia but didn't get it, I think it's got a very "architectural" sound. Built from the ground up. I could easily live with one. The S is identical as far as I know. I think it was the SOAP connector that was different? |

We never sold them (I don't know why), but the few that came in for dems were very much liked I remember. I remember them as well made, the sound as clear, but not lean as a Cyrus 2 minus PSX could be.

Never apologise, Dave. I think it's great what you're posting. Finally there is somewhere that is about proper hifi and not much else. Only a handful of us here for now but the content is awesome....and you've been a massive part of that content. If oh her like minded people find these threads they will love them. I visit other forums and struggle to find a thread I want to look at, let alone post on. so much these days is about computer audio and streaming. It bores me senseless. |

My personal issue is that I have gear I need to shift, especially two largish pairs of speakers, but an terrified of eBay, especially as one of these pairs of speakers (Rogers BBC LS5/9's) may go to the far east and there's all manner of scams around and about I'd miss. Any revenue gained would go into household expenses as well, so no new JBL's for this bod sadly...
