Been thinking a lot today. I think Hi-Fi & me have to part company. Im going out tomorrow to look for a portable FLAC player i can put in my pocket.
1 - Vinyl is an impossible no no these days due to many factors mostly Money - If i could afford what i wanted & afford 1st issues in minto condition maybe i could live with the other issues..
2 - Audio Cassette ok if you are not taking much notice to sound
3 - CD i cant stand & never have liked but all their was for me post Vinyl + Mini Disc is just as cack..
4 - File base system i know full well will not work with me, Due to complication factors ive encountered just thinking about it... Ive decided to not even go there.

bozo for the last 15 years i have just used you tube and some 50 quid wireless philips head phones..does the job..just have spotify and use that into ya headphones.
i have long long given up on hifi..got a lot of kit here i will never even plug in
me record player hasn't been plugged in for 5 years..dont own a cd player any more..marie uses spotify and so does matthew..i just use you tube...
i do other things with me time n money instead of wasting my life with boxes.
u and i both know most hifi is crap..it's all a waste of time

Vintage is my main interest & actually where my heart is. Which goes without saying should be Vinyl based, This aint gonna happen again so its kinda daft what im doing day after day skirting around trying to be happy. May as well give up..

I've got hundreds of LPs I never listen to anymore, either because I over-played them years ago and can't bear to hear them again, or because I know the songs so well I can play them in my head, and they sound better than the LPs because my memory of how they sounded is based on hearing them via 20-year-old ears. Some I can play over and over again, such as Steely Dan's first three albums. |

bose acoustismas are awesome little speakers...better than most of the junk made today..we got a set in the kitchen...
i promiss u they will sound way better than most of the cack speakers you have had in ya time shane lad...
me lad has some 400 quid bose quiet comfort noise canceling headphones..awesome sounding cans..bose make some good stuff bozos...never harsh..one trait i look for when buying kit
