I'm toying with the idea of using vinyl wrap on some equipment. There are some radical film designs available, sky's the limit really. It's not too costly and reversible if not liked. Think I may start with some speakers. I have yet to look into this in depth, but can't see any real drawbacks so far. Hmm, red carbonfibre look maybe?

Looks Sh#t? I hate speakers that come with a vinyl fake wood rap. Hi-fi that is made from genuine perspex on the other hand looks great. Unless you are covering damage or finishing a home made case I don't see the point.

It won't look "Sh#t" if the surface being covered is good and it's applied well. Works very effectively on cars. Orage/Green Chrome anybody?

Vinyl wrapped cars are another hate of mine. It's a matter of taste. Hi-fi is better in black anyway.

I’d prefer silver hifi but I honestly couldn’t live with anything vinyl wrapped. I’d be more interested in exotic wood veneers. That said, I’d be extremely curious to see what Geoff or anyone comes up with,

Hifi has to be black with red LEDs. Anything else is Just Plain Wrong.

Orange is also acceptable as an LED colour.

On the contrary they are about 8" x 10" I’s estimated the area to be about twice that much. Having over-estimated the size of the Penaudios too, I might need to look more closely in future.

Thought about doing mine with oatmeal socks and satin black top - or neon blue socks and same top.

I haven’t seen those before. I had some Carnvial 2s which I go for a fiver at a boot sale, They weren’t bad but they look to be an entirely different beast to yours.

they are deffo better than '66'.
They would be no good in my living room why i opted for the Smaller speaker. I did want the 'Pageant 3' but could not find a pair at the time.. Already had the 'Pageant 2' but did not trust that Isophon tweeter..
