Strangely enough when I saw her on the tv yesterday I thought of you Rudi enjoying her words of wisdom. Seriously what does some kid really know about world problems, come to think of it what do I know. For me, it's time some virus killed off 90% of humans and let the planet recover.

Lately I’ve got to know more people from the Muslim community than I ever believed I would. I have to say I get on so well with them yet I used to be a xenophobe and probably bought into a lot of the media stuff.
There’s a massive gulf between being a Muslim and being a radical extremist. Radical extremist religious beliefs are a problem whatever your creed.

As for saving the planet, there have been many climate variations and the earth will change again. If temperatures rise or a nuclear war, or epidemic wipes humans out, the earth will still have life. We attach too much importance to a species that has only occupied earth for a tiny amount of time.

The media is full of bollocks about how fucking wonderful they are. Not that I care one way or the other. An Englishman has the god given right to worship whatever or whoever he damn well pleases and the muzzers are no exception to that. It's all the fucking idealists who want shooting. They're the real cause of all our problems (whatever they are given we live in one of the richest countries in the world where you can get a free house and free money at the drop of a hat). |

I guess I mean that there is a massive amount of news content regarding sharia law, terrorism , extremism and the like. It doesn’t bear any relation to the good-natured, gentle and respectful Muslims I know who don’t want to hurt anyone, don’t try to interfere with things like Easter,Christmas etc and in no way show any kind of animosity to non-muslims. I’m not making any claims beyond this being my own experience but it’s been a real eye opener for me.

Lots of news coverage about white Christians killing people and being extreme too though. But the vast majority of them (us?) don't bother anyone either.
best thing to do is just avoid the news. People seem to think tv news and newspapers exist to provide a public service but they never have and never will. They're about making money by getting viewings so they'll print or show whatever will do that. They are not there to educate or inform.
