Anyone using their cables? Anyone tried them?
I’ve tried an interconnect but it was really bright. I’d like to try some speaker cable sometime though.

I've had their Shiva mains cable . It didn't last long in my system because I felt the music became unlistenable , felt like someone had adjusted the speed button to make the music faster . Such a weird sensation . I tried it in CD player and amp with the same result in both . Sold on Ebay .
Amazing construction though .

That’s really interesting and makes me want to dabble. I might look for a bargain cable that I can move on easily.

I just wonder if they were just revealing the true sound of my system back then. I can’t even remember what the system was tbh.

Never tried it Westie, don't really want to. I seem to recall you trying mk1 NVA TIS. That stuff turned out to be a Goretex cable. I liked it a lot. I think my current Black Rhodium is even better but you can never be sure unless you have both at once. It was damn good though, and has left me wanting to DIY with some Goretex cable.

The are highly overpriced (and that is coming from someone using not the cheapest cables myself). The problem is that Nordost sound thin and nasty and are really bad for the price. I tried some a while ago and my IXOS interconnects at the time were better and my Exposure speaker cable much better than their speaker cable.

So Bright you have to wear Shades, no thanks. Put them with Naim amps and speakers and you have something that could make chalk being scratched down a blackboard sound easier on the ear, LOL.

Had a girl friend like that once, fortunately she liked being gagged and handcuffed.

Owned some Frey RCA cable, made no difference. Over what, Simon? I am guessing if you weren't using it at all you wouldn't be able to hear much at all

Still have TIS cable in my NVA system, good stuff. I tried some Black Rhodium many years ago, as far as I remember, it was over blown in the bass. My brother has recently purchased some Townshend Fractal XLR interconnects, I will report back on these when they arrive.

Some folks love Nordost cables. My father had some of the Red Dawn stuff in 2007. Didn't sound bright to me. But as always, each to their own.
