All is well here.
One of the reasons I have joined is that I have beeen put on the naughty step for a month at AoS.
It seems a bit of an overreaction to me and as such I am not intending to go back there. It has changed over the last few years, so Imwon’t miss it.

Hi Kevin, and welcome. Sorry it’s taken me a while to say that. I intended to do so earlier but I have a mind that Is 50% butterfly and 51% goldfish. I have no idea what the GS loan scheme is, but you are welcome to talk about it, whether you’re involved or not. A bit of promotion is fine here anyway.I made that rule from the outset because I was sick of infantile shilling accusations across forumland.

The point is that I can’t offer the scheme to the majority of members here, as there is a separate U.K. scheme coordinator.
Therefore pretty pointless.
I may post up a blog, if ever I find to work through the bits I have at home.

Just to clarify, I am currently the European Loan Coordinator for Graham Slee HiFi components.
If you see any posts about the equipment, just bear in mind that I may not have purchased it. I do actually own some stuff he made, but I have full access to the contents of the loan scheme range when it is not out on loan. Therefore, assume that I may be biased and take anything I say with a pinch of salt. Use your own ears to decide.
Please note that it is a voluntary role, and I have no financial gain or involvement from running the scheme.

I get that but you're in a good position to offer support or advice on the range.
A blog with your experience of the brand will be useful to anyone looking for something and possibly considering Graham Slee.

My view is that anyone should be able to post about kit they have a declared interest in. It’s then up to the reader to decide what to make of opinions and comments made within that context. Otherwise you will have people who are most knowldegeable feeling they can’t post for fear of being accused of spamming. I accept the notion that it’s possible and indeed likely that someone involved with a brand may actually be enthusiastic about the sound and want to talk about something they have a passion for. Let them talk and let other folk decide what they make of it, is where I am at. Too many forum debates spoiled by this nonsense imho. |
