Howdy,
I'm Paul, previously on WigWam, AoS, the usual places.... not too obsessed by the kit, but happy to pick up a bargain once in a while.
Current kit below, hasn't changed much for a long time cos it sounds pretty good and would cost more than i want to spend to improve noticeably (see bargain comment, above)
Chromecast audio (via a battery, foo!)
TEAC T1 Transport
Rega Planar 2 / Super Bias
TEAC T-D1 DAC
Rotel RC850 Pre (incl Phono stage)
HH S500D Power Amp
or
DACT passive pre
Mono Mullard 5-20 circuit EL34's
Tannoy Cheviot 2's (according to Mr Walpurgis if I remember correctly as they are SRX drivers, not HPDs..) Whatever, they sound nice
Wharfdale sub (its a big room!)
