I bought these for a winter project and left them at Misterdog's and lo and behold he'd put 50 hours into them stripping them all down and replacing three panels. However that's not the end of it and I have a raft of mods. servicing that i want to do to the electrics. And I want to learn a bit about Quads and how they work. SO what better way to do both things at once than dive in headlong and make up some PCB's for the disastrously dangerous HT boards? it's only 5KVA what could possibly go wrong. Zaaap-Owww. I'll add pics tonight, but the pcb's have arrived and I'm building my set up. Subject to them working i'll be giving all the ones I don't need away. So if anyone wants a pair, let me know, I don't have many so first come first served and anyone who takes a set has to agree to use them or pass them on for free, no selling on allowed. I have a BOM for them, they use all current modern parts, apart from reusing the neon from your original boards. Total build cost looks to be about £70 a pair and they are will be head and shoulders above the ones in your Quads already and a damn site better than anyone else offers looking at commercial offerings. Pics to follow, I think I have two sets available spare. (red pcbs) Once I've built and tested these I'll do a full build sequence and install photo-set and then move onto the input boards and clamp boards. Both of which I have PCB layouts for they just need some tidying.

Looks a good board mate. Where do you have them made?
Nice offer too. Hopefully someone will be able to use them.

I've done nothing at all with these since my last post. Other people's CAD has taken over my life. I'm a few bits of soldering away from completing a Paradise for Tim from Chesterfield then I really will get back to these.

Well Tim's Paradise is pretty much done so it's time to get stuck into my quads again. New HT boards are done. I'll be replacing the speaker sockets, removing the RC filter and putting it outside the box. Then I need to order the pcbs for the main/ sense boards.
