Just recently picked up this little cutie. For now I want a small headphone amp.
There's plenty clout and detail is all there, without sounding overly etched. Has enough guts to drive my Sennheiser HD650 headphones. You can also upgrade to a more meaty PSU. But I don't quite need it. Maybe in the future, who knows!
The Novo is not far away from the Schiit Asgard 2! But the Asgard will always be better value.

Had a couple of Slee phono stages, they were very good. The Era Gold V and the dearer Reflex M. The Reflex M is the more revealing unit, but the Era Gold V is super musical and in some ways I prefer it. It was good enough to supersede the EAR 834P I'd been using.

I'm pretty sure it was the Era Gold V I heard on your system? S.

Must be doing a great job if you’re still using it. I’m still enjoying using the Claymore. It’s given me more enjoyment than the Asgard 2 and I rated that highly.

The Asgard 2 can sometimes get accused of sounding slightly clinical. But its never harsh though. Glad the Claymore is still rocking your boat. S.
