Blimey, I've heard it all now. truTV channel announcing their new 'bisexual, reality, dating show'. I dunno about not being able to make it up, but even if I was being paid to be 'creative' that idea would never have crossed my mind that's for sure.

It’s gone way too far. I can accept minority/alternate lifestyles, but there’s no need for them to be pushed and pushed. Channel 4 are the worst offenders.

Modern television disgusts me. S. Lots of it does with me too. It’s that pleb lifestyle and culture I can’t take. Particular hates are Jeremy Kyle, Big Brother, Love Island, X Factor, Don’t tell the bride, anything with Katie Price and pretty much any reality TV. That’s before we even touch on American twaddle involving Osbornes, Kardashians etc. |

Big tits and a fat arse is not what makes a woman desirable and it is beyond me why any woman thinks any of that clan should be role models, as to me they are cheap slags.
Glad to say I watch very little TV these days and even documentaries are barely worth watching as they constantly repeat themselves over and over again in the same programme, so one hour only has half of that in content, the rest is just padding, appealing to the feeble minded.

I don’t even get what they are famous for, or how they ever got on TV. The great thing today is that there is so much content to watch and listen, you don’t even need TV channels. Therefore the dross is easily avoided. Sadly, the idiots who are fed and shaped by such stuff are less easy to avoid.

I don't know where the idea that media shapes opinion came from but it seems to be accepted as fact now without a second thought.
IME people's real-life experiences shape them and the media is simply a reflection of that. In other words what people believe and want to hear defines what the media shows and says, not the other way around.
And on the odd occasion when they do want to push an agenda it's always blindingly obvious to anyone. The current obsession with people's sexuality is one of them. And they push it in children's shows like Doctor Who. Which is obscene IMV.
I don't know why some people seem to think it is a big deal. I'm sick of gays going on about being gay, or women banging on about being women. Nobody else gives a flying F#ck what gender you think you are or who you're shagging or how you're shagging them. Either talk about something interesting or F#ck off.

Apparently, there are about ten now. Total rubbish in my opinion. People are born male, female or an indeterminate hermaphrodite to a greater or lesser degree. You can't change chromosomes, so basically it looks as though sexuality rather than biology is being used as an excuse to claim new genders.
A bloke may have his tackle surgically chopped off, take hormones to grow tits, wear make up and women's clothes, but regardless of what he may want to describe himself as, he's still genetically a bloke like it or not!

I don't know, from what I've read the genetic argument isn't so clear cut. But it isn't a subject I've ever delved into in detail so that may be bollocks (ho ho).
Either way my point is no-one else gives a Sh#t. You're a bloke and you want to wear a dress?. Well as long as I don't have to do anything then go ahead, knock yourself out. You want me to make special considerations for you or put my hand in my pocket? No. You're just a bloke who likes wearing dresses. You're not special, so get over it.
