True but check it out inside. 2 massive listening rooms downstairs and the whole place is properly tricked out. You could move straight in.

Well I wouldn’t be spending long in the morning room but it’s handy to have a room for drawing in.

As much as I love it, that’s just too big for me to be comfortable. I don’t like grass either. About half that size with a smaller garden would be just perfect.

What a beautiful house you posted the link for Macca. Great sized rooms which I like, the only problem would be the upkeep.

Yep, still scum on the Hill. My Mum & Dad bought their place off the GLC in 1971 for 3 grand! Shepherd and Dog has gastropub aspirations but just charges too much for food - 17 quid for fish & chips - f**k off! Pomps is a burnt out shell waiting for more flats to be built. Only pubs left are the Saxon King & The Bear. I used to drink in the Community Centre when Dad was alive. As far as buying another place is concerned I reckon she should stay put but a developer has made her a good offer for her place & she wants to free up some equity. Current house has 4 bedrooms & 2 annexes with another bedroom in each and this view

No, I’m in Dagnam Park Drive, view’s from top of Shepherds Hill (on a clear day you can see the Dartford Bridge). Yep, Bears still there & I remember the ‘Zoo’ they had. Forgot about the Alderman top of Hilldene shops, mind you it’s best forgotten.

Decor's not that bad; wouldn't be what I'd choose but not bad enough that I'd waste money ripping it out and doing it over. As for the bathroom as long as it all works who cares? It's not like you live in the bathroom.
No chance of getting boomy bass or other room mode issues in rooms that size.
Grounds would require a bit of upkeep but labour is cheap round here and if you are retired it gives you something to do. Also a good excuse to own a ride-on mower.

It's hideous. OK if you're partially sighted I suppose.
Anyway, there's no way Mrs H would move that far north, we aren't looking to move, and it would take at least a year to get our house clear of enough shite to let the photographer in. Apart from that, it's ideal.

I wouldn't worry it will still be on the market in a year. No-one round here has that kind of brass which is why he's still struggling to sell the bastard despite knocking 50K off of the price. Ought to put him in touch with that geezer from PFM and they could compare notes.

That is a pretty tasty gaff though but. Surprised you can get that for £800K down south.
The gym could be repurposed as a listening room, put it to some sensible use.
'has built-in surround sound speaker system allowing you to play music from your iPhone/iPad.'
No thanks mate, we've got proper hi-fi equipment us.

That one’s still on the possible list. This was my repurposing of the downstairs plan

Not bad, except I'd move the kitchen into the utility area and have the present kitchen as hi-fi area 3. No idea why people these days need a kitchen big enough for a 400 bed hotel. As long as there's enough room for a microwave and a beer fridge in it that's job done.
