Born in York hospital. Never moved away from the area i was brought up in. Farming families dont you see. Place of work and hundreds of years of family history tied up in the place. Oh and every pets grave we ever had in a lttle pet cemetry. Two donkeys took up quite a bit of space and required a jcb to dig the graves. Still miss them (they were our pets for 35 years) Shouldn't think i will ever move away. Inbreeding is rife round ere

Born at home in Newcastle, but I will always be half Scots. For all my wandering, past, present and future, there’s a big part of me that’s drawn to the Western Isles. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I ended my days there........after lots more travel and sunshine

I'm not entirely sure where I was born. Lived in Liverpool until I was two; then crossed the Mersey and lived in Birkenhead till I was nineteen. Moved to Exeter, then to That London in 1977. Both my daughters were born there. Moved to Bristol in 1992, and am still here.

Oxford St Hospital for me, possibly you too. Not there any more but it used to be just behind the 'Baltic Fleet'.

That's where my sisters were born, but I seem to remember my mother telling me I was born somewhere else (unfortunately she's dead, so I can't ask). My younger brother was born in Birkenhead.

I generally don't answer questions on the internet that are basically- what's one bit of infomation that are frequently used to verify your identity. That's just stupid.

I don’t tend to use place of birth as a memorable answer so I’m probably safe in terms of internet security, I always use my favourite teacher, Mr Bumstead, or my first record, Space Oddity, or even my favourite food, Doner Kebab.

Had a few good pulls in Hollywoods nightclub next to Romford station. Probably long gone now. My pulling days, too...

I do not understand why members on forums cannot admit to the city/town were they live. Putting their location as 'The Land of Milk and Honey' is just sheer nonsense.

It prevents people saying 'I know where you live', and making vaguely threatening noises about 'dropping by to see you' if you annoy/upset them in some way.

Isn't The Land Of Milk and Honey just outside Sidcup on the A211? Not according to the Bible: 'And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites'.

Well, there's no arguing with the Bible.

We're looking to move in together sometime this year, seeking out a suitable property is taking some time (she's very particular, my only requirement is a decent sized stand alone music room).

Move up here and for the same money you could have your own stand alone music house right next door. You could probably buy most of a street in fact. Have a music house, library house, sewing house, gift-wrapping house and so forth.

We viewed a 4 bed detached today in Brentwood (Ingrave) up for £775k, similar places where you are (Stafford?) about half that. Wouldn't really bother me where I lived, relative I see most is in Scotland - he comes down to London for business - so I'd be nearer him but my other half's daughters & grandkids all live locally.

Says it’s a ‘gentlemen’s residence’ so that excludes me.
