Rumour and Odyssey sound ok in cheaper systems to liven them up. In proper top end systems they're harsh and scrappy sounding with a strange lack of perspectives. I had mine doubled up too and it made no difference here. I prefer the H07-R (LS2) myself - oops!!!

S. Clear and fast, but a bit on the “hot” side, I think at was with an LP12, an AVI lab series integrated and Dynausio Audience floorstanders (72?)

You're joking right?
To anyone afflicted with the stuff - and stores sold thousands of drums of the stuff in the 90's and noughties, run it with the writing reading from the speakers to the amp. Even then, all dynamics are squashed for some reason and 'everything' sounds too 'samey.' Cable talk 3.1 kept the sparkle (too much really) but allowed dynamics to come through. This was in the day when Sevenoaks were also selling drums and drums of QED Micro 'cos it was thin and easily hidden or disguised in the days of beech furniture and bare floors...

I bought a pair of speakers once that only had 3 inches of SA as jumper links and even that short length managed ro completely ferk up the sound. Dread to think what 3 metres of it would do.

Full of jokes as always, Andrew S. Full of something I have never had rhe “pleasure” of owning the Silver Anni, but it does have quite a reputation. I’ve never heard a single positive word about it outside the pages of WHF. Do you keep any “spare” speaker cable lying around, Shane? I always find it useful to have alternatives, although I don’t have a lot now, because the DIY stuff was so much better,
