FOR SALE: ARKE Vaders:
I thought this day would never come....
With a very heavy heart, I am selling my formidable ARKE Vaders! The ongoing development of my own speaker brand and new speakers has made the raising of funds paramount. I shall be very sad to see the Vaders go, but it is the only way to get my new business up and running.

The ones for sale are the slightly dark bamboo. They are ex demo.
A few specs/details:
Sensitivity: 91.5dB/2.8V/1 meter
Impedance: 4-8 Ohms for MMT (top) section
Weight: Lower enclosure 30kg, upper enclosure 35kg
Dims: height 1100, width at base 340mm, depth at base 570mm

Room tuning for 12" bass drivers:
The upper enclosure (tweeter, 6.5" mid/bass, 8" mid/bass) is passive and the lower enclosure has an active 12" bass driver driven by a 500w plate amp. The plate amp has DSP tuning and allows the speakers to be tuned in to a room. The Vaders will work in a large variety of rooms - room modes (peaks and nulls) can be compensated to give a more controlled and deep bass. Any boomy modes or unwanted peaks can be removed. As part of the sale price I will deliver and set up the speakers within 2hrs of my location (postcode area S33). I can provide a quotation for delivery/set up at locations further afield.
How good are the Vaders?
It is obviously very subjective, however, the Vaders have compared favourably to various speakers costing many times more. One client listened to many retail speakers at £40,000-£60,000 and the Vaders were their favourite. These speakers are not to be underestimated! I am am happy to provide a demo at my home in Derbyshire and may be able to home demo depending on the location.

Warranty:
I will offer a Back to base & labour only warranty for 2 years from purchase. This does not cover the failure or damage of parts (drive units, plate amps, crossover components). The owner would be responsible for any replacement parts, however, ARKE Audio will offer the labour to replace those parts. The speakers must be brought back to my workshop facilities. The warranty does not cover mechanical/impact damage or damage due to misuse.
