Like everyone, it seems, I have an opinion on this. It’s been aired before elsewhere but I wanted to see where folks here stand on the issue..
I don’t leave anything plugged in 24/7, I have taken on board the stresses of switch-on and switch-off, but I have balanced them with the comments from proper EEs like Jez Arkless, who report seeing far more damage due to heat from being left on. There’s also the effect on Calacitor ESR.
Nothing I have owned has taken more than 20-30 mins to come on song. Those most receptive to warm up have been Class A anyway, and therefore not practical to leave on 24/7 due to heat generated.
There’s also the risk of some malfunction when I’m asleep or away, so for me it’s switch off when not in use. If I listened all day every day, maybe I’d feel differently, but for now I’m happy with my choices.

I turn everything off. If a piece of equipment has to be left switched on to (allegedly) get the best from it, I'd go so far as to say the design is flawed.

I leave my system on 24/7, my brother's goes onto standby as recommended by the manufacturers. Everything would be switched off and unplugged from the mains if going away.

I didn’t know what Sonneteer recommend, so I looked it up.
Does my Sonneteer amplifier need warming up? All amplifiers will perform a little better after about 10 minutes of switch on. This is simply to give time for all the circuitry to reach a steady state relative to its environment.
Do you recommend leaving my Sonneteer amplifier powered on when not in use? No is the simple answer. For both safety and environmental reasons we recommend switching off when not attended or in use.

I don't leave stuff powered up. Unplug them as well just in case lightning strikes.
If I have a day at home then they might be on all day. Through the week I just turn everything on half an hour before listening commences. Seems daft to leave everything on all the time.

Yes I forgot about things like lightning strikes. Your opinion Ian one I really value so I’m glad to have it,

Yeah, there was a thread on pfm years ago (maybe over a decade) where a guy in the states turned his Naim gear off when he went to work or something. It was still plugged in though, there was a storm and on his return most of it was toast. Reckoned lightning had done it.

When I had Linn pre-power I used to leave it on 24/7 and the cd player too. Cd player eventually failed, burnt out a connection inside, and the Linn power amp needs a recap now I reckon, although it still works.
Dumb, dumb, dumb.
Switch it on and give it 5 minutes tops and it'll be fine. Don't care if it runs on valves, transistors or clockwork. If it isn't, sell it and buy some properly engineered kit.
