So it's that time of year when I get asked what i want for Xmas from the wife as it takes me ages to think of something. it obviously has to be hifi based but what would it be ? What's a good upgrade for say around £150 if there is one apart from Amp and speakers /stands ?

Currently got 4mm van damme speaker cable and I'm using the optical cable I got with the wiim mini could these be bettered for sq ?

Pay for a good ear cleaning, a nice bottle of Dow's 2001 vintage port and stash the rest

What DAC are you feeding the Wiim Mini into?
If it's the FiiO Taishan then a Beresford Caiman would be a great uplift.

Put the £150 in a jar marked 'better speakers' and add more £150s over time.
Or Tony's suggestion of booze is a good one. Booze gives a huge upgrade.
