I'm being suduced to return to the Lector CDP fold by the 603 in the PFM classifieds.

I sold my Lector CDP7TL just before Xmas as part of my system de-investment, replacing it with a 6000CDT(a decision I've regretted ever since).
I then bought this 9000CDT one week before the Lector CDP 603 appeared on pfm classifieds, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and have been drooling over it ever since.

The 9000CDT was to my ears a significant upgrade on the 6000CDT and I agree with all the points Paul Rigby made in his YT & The Audiophile man review.

2 months old RRP £995, I'm looking for £850 delivered (boxed & all accessories)

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

John, wasn't your 7TL twice the price of the 603 you are drooling over... Will the 603 be as good as your memory of the 7TL? Otherwise, this will just be another equipment change in <6 months to a 7TL!

The 9000CDT in combo with your megapimped BI DAC is a strong combo and I'm sure not going to be any worse than a 603, just different.

NB: If you really liked the 7TL, why not just buy another one? There are two for sale in Italy at 1500 or 1800 Euros.

All that aside, the 9000CDT are highly desirable and yours sounded great. So I'm sure someone will snap this up. It's also a ebay cheap weekend, so you should put it on there this weekend.
