Well this advice came from another site and because the cables are very sensible money I decided to buy from Amazon these are the Cat7 round type not the flat and £5.24 per 1 metre cable . I tried two to start with to replace the one from my router to my switch and then from the switch to the Server (LIV Zen) . Not really expecting too much as I have been loaned some very expensive cables and they did nothing . This time yes I could hear a difference straight away quieter and music has more texture . No not a massive change but a plus especially on the bass . So have now changed all of the audio cables to this for all players and was quite pleased that the effect was cumulative with each swooning the chain the whole chain seemed to get better . As normal I expect this to change and improve as each cable burns in but happy enough to accept the improvements as they are .If any one tried this please add your comments both negative and positive . I have been doing this sort of stuff too long to expect it to be the same for every system or every listener . Good thing about this is it is not loads of money and it will still be a working cable .
