looking to downsize to an all in one which means my Neurochrome 686 is up for sale. I have owned several amps over the years and this is one of the best.
It includes all the Neurochrome 686 boards, Linear PS, output, softstart, speaker protection. I estimate the core parts cost to be £2900 plus a little extra for sockets etc
This is a fully balanced amp, as such it has balanced XLR inputs. I can include suitable adapters if you need single ended RCA inputs. My system is fully balanced.
I appreciate the view that many of these boards are not needed but my personal take is why take the risk, better safe than sorry. If you dont need them they are easily removed and sold on.
£2000 collected from Nottinghamshire - close to motorway M1 j28 or possible hand delivery within 2 hours drive. Too big and heavy to risk a courier.

I thought it was a very clean build, probably some room for tweaking eg speaker output cables. The more I read about Lyndorf draining the life out of the music the more I worry if my downsizing plans make sense. thinking i might dip into savings and get a Tdai-1120 to test the water first

There's few better amps to be had anywhere, it's only shortcoming is an inability to double down into 1 ohm loads like 100kg of Krell. ( and who the hell needs that).
