Can anyone recommend some small speakers (in size) for a small set up in my conservatory to play TV audio and music ? I've looked at Polk audio S10e and JBL control ones used would be best as always I'm on a budget
Cheers

Once again Q Acoustics are your friend, for older but good then Warfedale Diamond, Mordant Short MS10 or Goodmans Maxim2.

Stupidly good speakers for what they go for s/h (£500-600 last I saw).

A friend has a pair of 3010s kicking around he doesn't use that he'd probably move on for a very sensible price, well I had them on an open ended loan for a while.

They are better than Control One. Otherwise you could get something better again if you're happy to buy used and maybe travel a distance to get them.

I was on a budget when buying my current main speakers. £20k, although I might have been persuaded to go to 25. (I ended up spending a fair bit less) You really do need to specify what budget means to you. Recently a guy on another forum with a similar thread said he didn't want to spend 'silly money'. Wtf does that mean?

I've only had a decently long listen to QAcoustic speaker at the Wam Show quite a few years ago. I looked after the dem room while the owner went off for an hour break.
Small standmounts, can't remember the model.
Really good at low to moderate levels, but fell to pieces when asked to go loud, nasty harsh things when the going got going.

My favourite small speakers are Arcam Altos which are rebadged Audiovectors. Easy to listen to with no nastiy traits.
