Anyone else get fed up,with ugly wires? What do you use?
I have ended up with a 2 box system partly because I hate wires, I especially hate wires with an in-line PSU box attached. Even with what I have, I am looking to tidy it, so any reccys welcome.

Just try to keep signal and mains cables apart. I'd go one further and try to keep DC supply wires away from signal cables too, but that's my imagination rather than necessity stating this latter... As I'm not into cutting mains cables to length for neatness, I tend to have a rats nest on the floor behind everything, but it's well away from signal cables and doesn't seem an issue, although jammy would go ballistic I reckon

I agree with Dave, that's how I arrange things (apart from the DC thing, although keeping DC cables away from AC cables might be good).

I use Campaign Audio Design leads for no other reason than they were cheap and sturdy. They are a pain to use because they have no flexibility. My mains block is Music Works but the block itself is a hideous white plastic RS jobbie. All need to go, I reckon. I will buy something else that’s prettier and easier to use, I’m not really a mains cable believer these days so I won’t be spending a lot. I might even go for one of those QEd in line jobs and be rid of lots of hassle.

I can't be arsed with foo mains cables either and couldn't afford them either except the Mark Grant one which is well made with good cable for fifty quid approx., but it pays to get some half decent cable if you make your own.
You know, if you can break into the block you have, a quick clean and tightening of the internal contacts may be all you need to do. Most cheaper ones either have special 'keys' or no external screws or keyways at all to get into them...
