There has been a battle between these two since the early 80s. Nowadays you even get both options offered from the likes of Copland and Sonneteer; even Audio Research.
So what’s it to be?

Once you've had black there's no going back...
I like champagne as well though. In fact was tempted to vote don't care as it's never been a deal-breaker for me. But any time there has been a choice of silver or black I've always gone for black.

I love silver, but the 3 brands I mentioned look cool in black too.
