Firstly my PC woes. It was sorted with a clean internally, and is OK for the moment.
The other thing, that can affect most people, the financial crippling Dentist. Try and find a NHS dentist in Lincolnshire that is not private, more chance of finding a Unicorn I reckon. My partner and I took the decision to go to her old dentist, and get a dental plan along with a checkup, now this is normal practice, and I expected a fairly substantial bill, I had to pay an initial £150 for a X Ray and checkup. Now we are both retired and on the UC benefit scheme, we have saving plus a small pensions (not a lot), but I did not expect a few dental visits resulting in nearly 3K, considering we both entitled to FREE dental treatment, which I have received in the past. Anyhow, my immediate thought was "oh well that the hi fi upgrades finished for a long time".
Anyhow we are booked into a NHS dentist next month in Nottingham, so normal service may resume in a couple of months time
, a new Dac/Pre, possibly a Ferrum Wandla on demo. And with Christmas coming up, maybe a couple of sub £100 power leads
The new Amphion Argon 7LS speakers are now run in and sound very good
