Well I was advised of this by another site and told that a long number of hours using this would give some changes for the better in my system and in particular digital systems .
Now I did not really want my system on 24 / 7 even just a few days but was then told that you could do this without the power amps on . I have used other burn in discs before and even loaded up a file from the Ayre CD which i still use and do find works . So I am at least open minded on this .
Then you have the other plus points , firstly it is free so nothing is lost but time and some electricity to see what can happen . I am told that for the first burn in at least two / three days is needed but as it can be left on repeat overnight it is no great hardship . I am also informed that if you change anything in your system then you should use it again for about 2.5 hours or so .
That last bit can be ignored if you hear nothing after the first long burn in so here is the link download and either burn to a CD and put on repeat or as I did load the track in to your music server and put it on play repeat . Started this about 13.00 yesterday and when I put the system on to listen to Cerys this morning it did sound very good . Hard to say if it had changed much but I did get the impression it was a bit smoother but with better detail . Will do another couple of nights and then see what happens .
