Oh well, they was me thinking I've covered all of the test equipment angles and that settling back to pulling audio equipment apart, when Teledyne Lecroy spring this beastie on me, it's just not fair!!!!

Conservately I would suggest around 1/2 the cost of this property we run the business from going on the previous versions pricing structure that may include a few options but can't be sure, however the probes look like a whole new range which will be if you have the basic set up aroun the cost of a Tesla Model S  So maybe a few lottery tickets maybe involved Oli

This isn't a case of FOMO here it's purely about the new horizons have been knocking on the door with aerospace projects Dave.With some of the new extralterrestial communications systems being devoloped PAM 4 is required and there are only four pieces of equipment on the market that can geuninely handle these levels of bandwidth with the sophisticated software to enable the complex measurments to accurately happen.
Currently the rate of development of new technologies and fronteries is blinding fast, if we went back say just 10 years it would take around 25 years to reach where they arelooking to go is 5-6 years max. Increasing speeds and bandwidth are gathering pace at almost warp speed (lol) so the rest of the inductry has to be able to quantify wahat is really happening in the here & now.
Let me think a Wadax reference dac & transport? or the ability to generate income from future projects with true results and confidence, no brainer really.

It's all well beyond my pay grade Tony, and honestly I'm too old to care. I'm going away next week for a far more simple life. Taking my Eversolo to partner a RFTLYS amp and a pair of JBL Control 1's which will give me music. |
