'left' and 'right' Consequently I don't tend to get involved in political discussions where the participants like to bang on about 'left wing' and 'right wing' since it's usually a good indication that their understanding is stuck at the sixth-form level and they are unlikely to have anything of genuine interest to say. Yes.......I'm afraid your appraisal sums me up macca. Politics can be very complex.......Bit like an LS3/5A crossover. š

Pop out with no deal? That would be financial suicide for a few years.

Still hoping for the wheels to come off the Brexit train completely. Failing that, a deal with Cyprus for free movement, As a former colony and Commonwealth country, this is not just an EU consideration. Iām speaking purely from self interest here, and donāt care to get into the the debates surrounding Brexit.
I do, however, think the 52% referendum vote isnāt sacrosanct. Any subsequent vote would clearly supersede it anyway. Plus I feel itās far better to seek a public endorsement of any deal vs no deal vs stay in. At least anyone voting āleaveā would know more about what they are voting for. It might be the ony politically expedient way of getting round the political impasse we have in Parliament. Letās not kid ourselves here. Politicians will only do what suits them. We only had the first referendum because it was politically expedient for that slimy C#nt Cameron to offer one to pacify the Euroskeptics and counter the effects of UKIP.

The majority didn't vote out. The majority of those who voted, voted out- quite a different thing.
Personally, I think the only fair way to implement Brexit is to negotiate the deal, or get to a no deal exit point, and then go to the people to ask them which they prefer, deal, no deal, or stay. Once we know exactly what the options really look like.
Because after all, the original brexit referendum itself wasn't set out as legally binding, it was only ever advisory.
I voted remain but i would have voted for EU reform from within if that was an opinion as that's what i believe we need. To be a member state and to start reforming the EU from within to make it fit for purpose again, not a gravy train for massive C#nts and windbags.

Those of us who voted out don't really care what 'out' look like as long as we're out.
How can you reform an organisation where all 29 members (all looking out for their own interests) would have to agree to the reform? It's a joke.
If we are out we don't need to reform it because we're nothing to do with it any more.

They set up an e-mail address at work for us to send our 'Brexit questions' to.
here was my question:
Hi
Can you confirm that, following the completion of the exit process, the EU flags currently being flown outside the various UK installations will be taken down?
Thanks
And the response:
Properties, facilities and brand will make the necessary and required changes at the appropriate point.
They're still hoping it isn't going to happen is my guess. Big multinationals love the EU. That's why it always makes me laugh with these people who try to make out that it's the friend of the working man.
