some really juicy CD transports coming out of TEAC . just as Schiit introduces the new URD teac.jp/int/product/vrds-701/spec2.5k for the cd player with xlr and 2k for the transport

I'd still take the old VRDS on looks alone but I'm sure these probably sound even better.
I don't really listen to CD's but have often thought about picking up an old VRDS just to have it sat in the rack . . . fortunately I've held off (thus far) as I just wouldn't use it . . .

huge amounts of cd transports now available . i thought CD was supposed to be dying out but they just keep coming. audiolab now has 3 !!

my beautiful transport packed up recently so a wonderful audiofile friend lent me a beautiful audiomeca kreatura ... beautiful . lovely sound . really makes such a difference to have a good transport . i did try a modest cd player as a transport but its not a patch on the cd2 or this audiomeca
