Hi all
For sale I have a Cairn Boost MM/MC phono preamp which is in good overall condition and works with no issues (you can see that the MM writing on the back of the device is not all there) since I have owned it.
The MM capacitance can be adjusted as can the MC impedance (see below) and I have used it with both MM and MC cartridges and found it to be quiet when no music is playing - the specs are the following:
MM :
Input impedance : 47 k
Input capacitance : from 47 to 837 pF (adjustable)
Gain : 40 dB
Maximum output level : 10 V RMS
MC :
Input impedance : from 10 to 463 ohms (adjustable)
Gain : 70 dB
Maximum output level : 10 V RMS
A few pictures of the actual unit:

Can be heard in the system or willing to post (for an extra £10) - will be packaged up well, and can also include a power cable if required.
