As the tweaks continue I happened across this lovely counterweight from a little company called Icini. After a few emails with the owner (Patrick), he kindly sent me one to try for my RB300 on my SP10. As you can see the machining is very impressive. As I'm sure everyone knows the theory of moving the counterweight closer to the pivot and lowering the centre of gravity is well proven, however this one takes things a couple of steps further. The weight seems to be biased towards the bottom of the triangular design with replaceable brass (or steel if you prefer) weights to change the weight applied. I really like it and probably would have bought it based on looks alone, but it does improve the sound too. Cart is definitely happier. I have also tweaked my arm (RB300) by disengaging the VTF spring and now solely using the weight of the counterweight for tracking force. Did seem to improve things further actually. It also matches my arm plate pretty nicely . . . Icini also make a few other cool accessories which I may be checking out: (just note some of the REGA arms have slightly smaller threads for the stub on the back of the arm tube, Icini can provide either but worth checking before purchase so you get the right one). iceniaudio.co.uk/

That was going to be my next purchase if I'd had my Pink Triangle serviced, I didn't and went down the Lenco/Audiomods route and then digital only. Looks really good on the end of your Rega arm.
