A short time ago, I made mention that in the light of my partners health issues, and money saved for speakers was instead to be used for scans etc, my focus had shifted to a cheaper alternative, so looked at the cable thing. I have currently the TQ Black II in place, tried the Ultra Black II, but for the outlay, did not find the improvements worthwhile. So was looking at the www.abcaudio.biz/product-page/ls-40-reference-loudspeaker-cables and they will be here later. Apparently they are designed by one of the chaps who started TQ, but something happened to make him step away from them |

There is no hurry, I am down one sub anyway, it just got picked up an hour ago. Trying cables is a good thing, as it can show me how good (or bad) my amp and speakers really are, without having to try and spend a lot more trying to replace them with something different/better. And in light of the current economical climate... well |

Hopefully you'll enjoy your EWA cables I have a set and very happy with them. |

There us a lot more to that story so it isn't entirely true, although Colin was badly damaged by the experience |

Looking forward to your finding Pete. They have been in use for a couple of weeks, and just comparing them to my TQ Black II, they are a step up, ( well to my ears and in my room/system). Slightly more definition and bass is controlled well. Price wise, Hmmmm, £825 for a 2.5 meter set V £255( Black II). Will make a decision when I have tried another set that is being sent soon. All this bending over and swapping cables is playing havoc with my body  |
