There could be others, but for now, it's just me.
I'm an occasional poster on PFM and also on hifi Wigwam (there as Valley Dweller). However I've been attracted to join up over here because I'm on the look out for my first external phono stage and am seeking info/advice (current phono stage comes courtesy of the integral one in my Croft 25 preamp). Should I fire away here or stick it on another forum on the site?
I look forward to lurking and pitching in from time to time!

Welcome Alvarado nice to see you here sadly I have no words of wisdom for your search as I do not use Vinyl and have no idea what does and does not sound good in that realm . Now digital and power supplies and it will be hard to stop me frothing at the mouth . Goo luck with your search .

Phonostages are a bit of an obsession for some of us here, so give us some ideas of budget, valve or SS and what kind of cart you'll be using and we'll happily give you our thoughts. Always great to get a new take on matters and popular discussion subjects here, ie, phonostages. Ive always enjoyed croft stages myself but shouldn't cost too much to upgrade if you're going with a new external.... Cheers Chris |
