Tried one around a year ago with Sennheiser HD600. Lovely sounding combination. Just musical and fluid, how I like it to be.
OTL design, and works best with high impedance headphones.
Will deffo pick one up again sometime later in the year. Nice headphone amp.
Anyone here heard Valhalla 2?

It's nice, Andrew. Doesn't shout at your ears but without cutting corners with detail. The presentation is a tad similar to the Asgard 2, but smoother.

I've tried it with Grado's. Not bad, but much better with Sennheiser HD600. Well to my ears anyway.

It’s a pretty good way to experience lots of kit. If Shane hasn’t swapped from whatever he had previously, he would never have got to find out how good the Valhalla is. Likewise if he had stuck with the Valhalla, he wouldn’t have had all the subsequent experiences. |
