NOT GOOD FOR YOU LADS to spend ya life doing fek all day after day. cant wait to get my body active again and get back to work..nothing better coming home from a hard days work knackered and then getting into ya pit.

I've always been a lazy sod. I can quite happily do nothing all day long.

I can spend a lot of time thinking about what I should've been doing...

'Why do that today when you can always put it off until tomorrow?' Was our motto

Luxury problem mate. I am on the go all the time - Sunday is just reserved for me. Not having a remote control keeps me fit on Sunday. Month shutdown is long. Never had that long off work on one go. Aren't you going on a holiday? Cruise? Walk the Great Wall of China, diving in Sri Lanka? Loads of things to try.
Often wonder what I'll do if I retired. My dad went from manager to couch potato at 70 and withered away watching crap on telly and eating mars bars and crisps. Probably the saving grace for me is that I can’t drive so I walk everywhere. Probably about 10k most days and it’s never on the flat,

No car here either, never been bothered about walking a distance. Will walk the 6 miles home from work without thinking about it. Not so keen on walking in to work in the mornings though but that's what taxis are for.

Bus service here is terrible. Expensive, and the buses are often clapped out and dirty. And the timetables are a work of fiction. If I got the bus to work it costs £5 one way, involves changing buses once and takes a total of an hour to go 5 miles and then I've a half mile walk at the end. Whereas a taxi is door to door, takes just ten minutes to get me there and costs £7.60

Single fare is 1:50 no matter how far you go. I was back in Britain in April, and a day ticket for a much smaller area was £7.20

We do have cheap taxis. A result of the city council licensing far to many drivers. In Nottingham taxis are twice the price.
