Any tips appreciated. I have one on a record that I seem to be unable to shift. I don’t think it is a scratch, as it can only be hear on two revolutions of the disc.

Run finger on track whilst on TT and you should feel where it is, when you feel it, look for a reference point on the label, stop record and use fingernail (soft but stiff enough for vinyl) to gentle remove. Once main 'blob' has gone, spray area with a window/surface cleaner, leave for 30 seconds then mop up excess with a tissue, then use tissue to give a final polish. How do I know, I've just had to deal with this on my prestine David Gilmour live in Pompeii, all was good after the above procedure.
