Jason, bring your speakers over to sheffield if you fancy a day out. I'd love to hear them. Might help give you some perspective by hearing them in another system. Fantastic, what speakers do you have? |

I'd better get started... I've got the timber, crossover components and drivers... The design is pretty much done... Just some building to do. It'll be interesting to see if they compare favourably to the q300s or are at least similar.... No pressure 🙄😯 I'm as keen to help compare as all on here. I'm very flexible with times and dates. I have Thiel CS 2.2 with recapped Xovers and OCC internal wiring if you are interested. Can come to you no problem. Wonderful, thanks Alan. Perhaps sometime in Sept? Oli and Steve are coming early Sept. Assuming they dont think they're crap, head to heads are very much welcome! 😀 |

I'm on the West edge of sheffield, just off Ringinglow road.

I'm on the West edge of sheffield, just off Ringinglow road. I'm in Bradwell, so not far away at all. Wonderful, the NS1000Ms - that is a massively different speakers to my little standmounts... I fear mine may sound rather laid back and 'small' in comparison 😂. It'll be interesting to hear their little 5" bass drivers verses some mammoth 12" bass drivers. Also, be great to hear them in another system. Thank you |

You'll have some competition there Jason, methinks I agree, my little standmounts are perhaps not designed to compete with speakers of that scale. It'll be very interesting comparison. It's a bit like comparing a little golf GTI to a V8 mustang. My slim floorstanders will have a slightly better chance. The flagship speakers (in the pipeline) with a Be tweeter and 12" Bass will be a very worthy competitor... |
