Hi folks, Firstly thanks for letting me join your group.
Youāre wonderful member Antonio lured me onto this group with his fabulous record collection for sale and Iāve lurked for a couple of weeks before saying hello.
Now please donāt shoot me down (well not immediately) as I am for the most a āLinnieā!
My current system after going though numerous configurations over the last 40 years is as follows:
LP12 - Radikal, Urika, Karousel, Keel, Ekos SE/1, Dynavector DRT XV-1s
ADSM/3, A4200, B&W 804 D3s and Linn cables and connectors
Anyway thatās me said hello and look forward to some great banter.

Welcome pizzaman70 Andy! You've already spoken to Dave so the worst is over I'd say. Everyone's experience of kit can differ a lot so it's always interesting to get a fresh take. I thoroughly enjoyed my tenure and upgrade path of my dad's LP12 when he kindly passed it down to me. We can talk about the good power conditioners as well as the very very bad ones at some point I'm sure! Have fun. Chris |

Welcome to the forum Andy, the worst is over as they say, now you've owned up to being a Linnie (I'll be biding my time Optical  ) I'm also an ex Linnie and enjoyed my time with it, for me the biggest improvement came when adding a Lingo when they first came out. It was a member on another forum who mentioned the LP12 limited his listening to albums that sounded excellent on it and many albums very rarely got a look in. That rang bells with me, I'd already sold the Linn by then to build up a new system and had already purchased a Pink Triangle PTtoo, and for me that did everything the Linn was supposed to do and more. Now you're going to have to help me out since I don't know what a ADSM/3 and an A4200 are. |

Welcome Pizzaman, mine's a 12" meat feast. No that's not a chat up line I've seen this before, people almost apologising for LP12 ownership - I think they're great (for a belt drive)  I had one for almost 30 years and loved it. When the Valhalla unit failed, Linn replaced it FOC, even though I'd bought it secondhand 5 years before. That's what I call customer service. |

The ADSM/3 is Linnās Accurate DSM which is a streamer and pre-amp in one. The other is a Linn Accurate 4200 power amp - 4 x 200W
