For sale is my little grey 6SL7 valve custom built preamp with volume control.

4 inputs, 2 outputs as I was running dual subwoofers from it but could be used for another amplifier or active speakers etc.
Custom built power supply in separate housing.
Circuit has been modified and upgraded by Alan (firebottle) of this parish so you know the work is top quality.
It’s a very simple circuit that utilises a pair of very special (Melz) 6SL7 valves. These are getting very rare and expensive now and these don’t have more than 20 hours on them at most.
It has a stepped relay volume control which is excellent also.
It has a lovely sound but due to a very sorted power supply has none of that valve mushiness, just all of the lovely tones a good preamp should have.
Chassis is not the prettiest, but it certainly has it’s charm, nothing major.
Build cost including the valves was £600+.
