What cables are you using it with? Do you have another input on the amp you can try?

edward Thank you for that Edward, I'm busy now for the next few days and highly unlikely to be able to spend time doing this but I will reply back asap. @cagey I have two inputs on the amp and have tried them both, thanks Kevin.

Hum. Smoking valve amps.
Have you considered taking up fishing or stamp collecting instead?
Just kidding. Good luck with it all.

Audio mods arm on a lenco, chances are strong that there's continuity between arm, chassis and mains power, unless you have a wood atm board. So that gnd on the tonearm has to go back to the mains with the tt psu, not the phono. If you have a metal bodied cart on it too that need intervention also.

Here's a photo of the armboard, wooden, and I use a Lyra Helikon MC cartridge @cagey Cables used I assume are from Audiomods, they have KLE RCA plugs fitted and silver cable interconnects purchased from AliE, made up by our very own Bigman

This may have been asked already, but how is the tonearm earthed given it’s wooden base?

If the arm is earthed by a cart tag that could be an issue with a metal bodied cart and the arm acting as an aerial for rf from the motor.
Given the wood chassis as long as theres no wire from arm to chassis it should be a simple fix.
A few wires with Croc clips are your best friend here.

I did get the slightest of hum with my previous NVA Phono 2, but had to turn the volume way up to hear it.
