Late 70'S early 80's ghetto blasters

most of us here are ole fekers i think

do you remember having one of those tiny tape recorders and then taping the top 40 by putting the mic close to the radio speaker..ya mum always ended up on the tape..mum be quiet i'm reording

then years later having something like those ghetto blasters being able to record direct from the radio was just marvelous

I had one of these, picked it up second-hand in 1990. Lent it to a mate, never got it back:

I think these were the ones I had. Not sure about the Sinys.

twin tape decks with high speed dubbing ..oh the things wet dreams were made of as a kid and loving music..
used to eat batteries mind..
