New member from Switzerland here - long term member of PFM, and I recognize a few users from there here too.
Hobby is buying faulty gear to keep it out of landfill, and to listen to all the gear I could never afford when younger. I then either keep or resell it - basically means I have far too many sources and amplifiers in my collection as I sell less than I buy
Main system is heavily modified Naim CDI, LP12 with aftermarket sub chassis, diy geddon, 774 arm with Asaka, McKinnie head amp, Croft Mega Micro pre, DIY hybrid valve SE monos and modified ESL63s.
Got into DACs over last few years - and this is one of reasons for joining - I recently refurbed a vintage Wadia digimaster X-32 and am somewhat gobsmacked by the sound quality of it. Wanted to pick Tony at Coherent’s brain about it (misterc here?)… I’m led to understand he is somewhat of a subject matter expert
