I only use a carbon fibre brush these days. Back in the 80s the mags promoted Hunt P2 cleaner followed by Cantorion Discrex. I had great results with these but they aren’t made anymore. I can’t jsutify an RCM so was wondering what others use. Any RCM devotees here? What do You Use?

I remember reading somewhere PQ from Audio Note doesn't believe in cleaning records, and cleans the stylus with finger.

Brave man poking a stylus. Bad enough with an AT95 but an IO Ltd is another thing altogether.

I've got one of those Knosti's, it does a decent job for the £50 I paid for it. Haven't used it in a while (laziness, but don't tell mrhucker. )

I use of of those Knosti’s too. But you must ensure your records are totally dry before you re-sleeve them otherwise you’ll get a terrible streaking effect on your records. You’d think the devil himself has spunked up over them.
I leave mine to dry overnight, and then some. Great value though.

Spunky Devils aside Stevie lad, I don't think I've ever cleaned my fuzziest with any liquid, just a wipe over with a brush whilst spinning.

I use a Moth Mk2. I think they are pretty much essential if you are going to do vinyl properly. Even brand new records benefit from cleaning.
Pays for itself over time because your stylus doesn't wear out as fast playing clean records.

You probably look after them better than me.
A lot of the records I bought as a teenager had got to the state where they were unplayable, the RCM brought them all back like new.
Also meant I could buy used records and clean them up like new, got about fifty albums that only cost me a quid each, some of the looked like they had been down a coal mine. Now they all play perfect.
That's all going to be up for sale soon including the RCM and a couple of turntables. I'll be keeping one TT and maybe 50 albums, the rest can go.
