Speaking of power supplies - a question. Does a regenerator (PS Audio in my case) mitigate the bad effects of switched mode power supplies? Or is it the inherent design of switched supplies that cause issues regardless what juice is fed to it.

Great question Edward, I suspect it would improve things even with SMPS' downstream, but would give even more benefit if those SMPS' were LPSU's.... Could be wrong, often am! Certainly one for the electronics Wiz kids on here.....

Yes I suspect that linear PSU will be better even with a regen.
