Isn't this this £629 new, possibly could be had for less. £350 for one with unknown hours seems a huge amount to ask for it to me.

As good as the SL is, I wouldn't give anymore than £275 for that one. I only paid £340 last july for a 100hr dealer ex-dem one on Fleabay.

I think it’s harsh to discuss the price asked on someone’s for sale thread, in fact it annoys me, it’s up to the seller to ask and the buyer to agree, if you posted these comments ON the actual thread I think they might be removed.
£270 saving on £629 is pretty decent and I’m sure the asking has allowed some wiggle room too.
Comments regarding price on for sale threads is unfair to the OP ESPECIALLY if you have no intention of buying it.
Edit: the cart also has approx hours posted too😉

mikeyb I disagree with you, if you wanted to buy that cartridge, and didn't know whether or not you would be paying too much, why not ask others on this forum, for me it is just the same asking for any other hifi related advise. Would you say the same if the advert had been on ebay rather than another forum?

There is no issue with asking if a given asking price is good value or not. Also ok to discuss the asking price and the item involved.
As per the rules, discussing the "seller" himself is absolutely not allowed.
I'll check for Infringement and moderate if necessary, but we don't normally venture off into that area.
