The study is clearly inadequate, it does not even touch on how much the positive effects of music are boosted with several glasses of alcohol.

With this sort of scientific backing, doctors can be justified in prescribing music therapy for mental health disorders, as well as or instead of the usual pharmaceutical meds and exercise recommendations. It could prove very useful for people not able to benefit from the current standard treatments for whatever reason.
