Well I am slightly more hopeful that this year more gigs will take place and I might be able to attend a few. I see Glastonbury has the green light and so I presume most outdoor gigs will return. So I may try and get myself over to the Beardy Festival at Hopton Wafers taking place in June.
I have tickets booked for Agnes Obel at Symphony Hall Birmingham which I bought in 2019! Yes I was meant to see her then but each year it has been moved forward another year. Surely it will happen this year???! I was going to try and see Aldous Harding this year but at the last minute all gigs in UK and Europe have been moved to next year. Trying to pin down live music has been bloody tricky in these last few years and it will be great to see some live stuff again hopefully.
Anyone got any plans this year for live music?
What albums are you looking forward to this year?

My days of open air concerts are long gone, I've been to a few in my younger days, but not an overnight stay, never appealed that.

We have tickets booked for Dead can Dance in a couple of weeks at Manchester Cathedral. Then that Milos guitarist bloke in May. Just started booking stuff on a whim really.
I remember going to a festival about 11 years ago in Dorset. I kind of liked the whole vibe , but… Never again.. unless it’s in a big ol camper van. The thought of those loo’s… oh my god.

ZZ Top, Pat Metheney. Not much chance of either coming to the UK. Got no interest in any contemporary stuff.

Am off to Glastonbury again, with my daughter, after a two year wait.. Very much looking forward to it.
My other half is a Bryan Adams fan, off to see him in July at Harewood House in Leeds, another gig that was postponed a year.
