There is enough room though to fit a linear psu inside the case by employing a 10VA toroidal transformer. Watch this space, it's on order. Hi Alan, Did you ever implement this? Were you planning to use a single transformer with windings for the +/-12v and 5v rails? I really want to buy the 2541 and build a LPSU but I'd much prefer to have it inside the DAC case. Actually the mods will be the easy bit, as it's proving almost impossible to actually buy the DAC from the manufacturer. He has it in stock but doesn't respond to emails. I could get it from the US distributor as an alternative I guess. /Neil

My comment was to fit a single 5V supply in a Mutec reclocker, not the Soekris.
There isn't enough room in the Soekris for an LPS.

Great thanks Oli - I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on a Soekris 2541

I can certainly recommend the Soekris with an ext. ps, I purchased Oli's, although I never heard it without the ps. You will then get your arm twisted to go for a Mutec, I haven't as yet, most of my budget is spent on wine and women, the rest I just fritter away on hifi

Great thanks Oli - I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on a Soekris 2541 If you can get Soren to answer an email 🤣 Quite a few of the smaller manufacturers are not so good at answering promptly its the nature of being a small outfit.
I did get a reply from Soren within 2 weeks so there is hope
