Myryad produced a number of components that had what they referred to as "Z-balanced" output circuits (with standard XLR connectors). I still have one – an MP100 preamp.
I have looked online for any circuit diagrams or write-ups about this, to establish if this was some form of pseudo-balanced output stage or a fully balanced one – but not found anything. I recall reading something about it in the mid-2000s but I suppose it has now gone offline.
